It is now illegal to remove or to cause the release of CFC Refrigeration gases into the environment. This work must be carried out by a qualified engineer who must use approved equipment to do so. It is also illegal to recharge or top up systems containing CFC gases. If this was needed on such a system, it would require the system to be totally recharged with a safer type of refrigeration gas. Coolheat engineers are both equipped and fully qualified for the removal of CFC gases.
